Antique Date 1902 Natural Ruby Ring

In the restrained manner typified by the Arts and Crafts Movement and influenced too by the earlier Puginesque Revival, a tactile and familiar antique natural Ruby ring, very special and with a gorgeous historical aura on the hand. We have had the Ruby re-polished by our lapidarist and the colour is a gorgeous mauvey red and glows hot red/pink under UV light, the of Rubies from the old mines. It has a certificate which identifies it as a natural Ruby origin Siam/Kampuchea (nowadays Thailand/Cambodia) with no treatments.

Fully hallmarked at the Chester Assay Office in 1902, it is marked inside the band for Israel Cohen and Co Manufacturing jewellers, Great Hampton Street, Birmingham and Vyse Street, BirminghamGreat Hampton Street, Birmingham and Vyse Street, Birmingham (reg. 1890), it is fashioned of quality 18ct yellow Gold and has that smooth gleaming patina which is so desirable. 

We can alter the ring size to suit but it measures as a 'P' or '7.5' as is.
